We are excited to introduce our Beard and Body Pine Tar soap bar. Pine tar has been used throughout the centuries for its medicinal and homeopathic qualities. Pine soap is used for soothing skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and known to relieve itching caused by bug bites. It's important to note that the characteristics in Pine Tar are most beneficial during the summer months of the year, when mosquitoes are the most active. In selecting this soap we wanted to make sure that it not only worked for the body but was gentle enough for your beard without stripping away the natural oils of the skin. Additionally, our soap is hand-crafted and cold pressed from only the highest quality ingredients such as vegetable oils and Organic Shea butter. This soap lathers easily, and has a very masculine pine and citrusy scent but doesn't last very long so you can enjoy adding your favorite Barbu Beard Co. oil right after the shower.

What's in it

Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Corn Oil, Sunflower Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Water, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Pine Tar, Exfoliants: (charcoal, silica sand and oatmeal).

Application

Well it's really up to you, but we recommend to gently apply the soap directly onto your beard until it lathers or spin it a few types in your wet hands and apply the lather manually. We encourage you to keep the soap dry and out of direct exposure to water from your shower to make it last longer. Even though the soap is gentle for your beard we do not recommend washing your beard everyday. A good rule of thumb is to wash your beard every 2 or 3 days max in order to preserve your natural oils.
