Introducing "The Mayan" the first of a three (3) part limited edition oil series titled THE ANCIENTS.
This series explores my interests and curiosities of past civilizations and emipres that spanned the course of human history and which still to this day have influence over the modern world.
The Mayan is a complex, rich yet enjoyable profile with mild notes of Cocoa (native to Central and South America). Base notes of Musk and a top note of Mandarin. There are also a host of other earthy and spicy notes that tie this unique profile together.

Amazing chocolate earth.

A truly unique and very satisfying profile 💯

Once again Barbu manages to exceed expectations and raise the bar.
This starts out with unmistakable cocoa, not sweet chocolate but natural, smooth and comforting pure cocoa. Next up, the Mandarin compliments it perfectly, opening the senses with a bright, fresh effervescence. The musk is more subtle, adding a warm hint of rich, earthy tones in the background. Not sure what the rest of the magic is that Abraham has put into this one but the result is something special and very enjoyable. From the scent profile to the quality of the oils which take excellent care of my skin and hair, The Mayan is an out of the park home run!

Simply Amazing!!!

This is the 13th Barbu beard oil scent I have purchased and is easily tied for first place as my favorite! In typical Abraham style this oil has crazy complexity. The smooth cocoa scent is what you always have through out but after a little while the citrus of the mandarin shows up to give the scent a whole new vibe. I can't pick the musk out specifically which is amazing because it's working in the background to blend everything else together. I've used several other beard oil brands, and not going to lie, they were good. But I'm being 100% honest when I say that Barbu is better and the others came NOWHERE close to the complex combinations that Barbu offers. Barbu is the only beard oil I use and don't have any plans to stop.
